How does the Kwa m4a1 (my personal preference) compare up to the g&g m4a1 - http://www.airsoftgi...roducts_id=2651

Also what would be the largest batter I could fit in the Kwa a 9.6 1400?

I was considering getting either the KM-4a1 or the G&G GR Carbine.

The biggest reason I got the KWA over the G&G (besides the re- enforced internals, that would last a long time), was that the G&G cannot pull the charging handle back. Well, it can, but if you do, it could damage your barrel when you let it slam back, or at least that is what ASGI and multiple reviews say.

I love the charging handle. My buddies do, too, and I know I would get that one moron who wanted to see my gun and let the charging handle fly, and there goes my barrel.

That's not true, only ASGI has claimed that.  I have read many reviews on the gun and have talked to many owners and they said it doesn't hurt the gun.

You shouldn't even bother to ask this question a KWA forum. Everyone is going to tell you to get the KWA.

I never said I was suggesting the KWA, I'm saying that everyone here obviously supports KWA since this is a KWA forum. :)

I suggest you post on ASR and ASF. (no offense to anyone here)  You will still get biased opinions there too, but you will hear both sides of the story, and then you can decide for yourself.

unfortunately... you will not find any truth on the forums.  I can give you that from all the years I've spend on them.
There are only few people really know what's going on with various guns and how they perform.  And can give you a fare and honestly suggestion.  So far, none of them are on ASF or ASR.

Yeah ha ha, I'm beginning to find that out myself.  Sad day :(

Your best option is to read reviews, look at some topics, and decide for yourself.  Either gun will last a very long time.  I would personally rather have this G&G over the KWA due to the RIS, cranestock, and some other things.

http://www.airsoftgi...roducts_id=3434

The G&G you linked is cheaper, has better looking trades, a tightbore, and can use pretty much all mags.

The KWAs seem to have trouble with midcaps that work consistently between other KWAs.  The internals are a lot stronger though.  As far as body strength, they are both supposed to be pretty equal.

Personally, I don't think you should get the G&G because it has a tightbore.  Let's face it, a stock TBB isn't going to be a Prometheus.  TBBs are very easy to replace and not too expensive. (60 bucks for a Prometheus)

If it is a standard G&G vs the KWA, I would take the KWA.  If it is the G&G I linked above, vs the KWA. I'd take the G&G.

hope this helps

BTW I know you are all thinking, "Why are you on a KWA forum if you don't have a KWA?" Well....I only answer questions I know about the gun (based on research) and I WAS going to get one, but some things drove me away. (stupid KWA RIS doesn't have a warranty.......DANG ASGI! ha ha)
