I was looking at a friend's SR5 today, a gun that's seen a lot of use recently, and admiring just how well the finish was holding up.  It was shortly after that he decided to to open her up and do some work.  The work itself is unimportant for this post.  However, through a series of mishaps a dent or a dig along with a few scratches ended up occurring.  This got me thinking about all those beautiful new guns that we see posted.  Believe me I, like most of you, enjoy these posts and many times use them for inspiration for new builds.  But what about the "working" guns.  The ones that are used week after week for the love of the game.  They wear the scares of the airsoft battle.  Anyone who has seen karMeister's posts will attest to what a well used KWA can look like.  At the end of the day it's what's inside that counts.  But the outside...well... that tells the story.  So here's my proposal. Post your "battle scared" KWA's.  Show us the dents, dings and scapes that make your gun a one of a kind , unique, and truly custom KWA gun.

Who'll be first?

Not exactly to the degree of Kar's, but it isn't a wall hanger and plinker.

And a wee bit of wear on the selector switch. The camera didn't capture as well as I wanted due to the lack of natural light.

Then just the rifle as a whole. You can tell it's a field rifle for sure though.

Just an SR-10 from May of 2010. It's only been to about ten or eleven games, hence the semi-clean look.

LOL, Thanks Jonathan. It's actually just brown spraypaint that has been removed in some areas by wear or a toothbrush.

ah...lol. Nevertheless it helps out with the worn in look.

I love the look of battleworn weapons...but I'll let nature take its course with my SR5...A buddy of mine battle wore his m16, and it looks good, but my luck I will over do it and screw up my baby. :gun:

OMG! Gun abuse  :(

I am too OCD to allow something like this happen to my guns...airsoft and real steel...

I clean them constantly...

she has killed many, but using a drop leg serpa sometimes ends up in the mud, or getting grinded against cement walls and such
