I am looking to buy an m9 gbb pistol. I am torn between the kwa m9 ptp and the kjw m9. I have a kwa m4 so i know firsthand how good kwa guns are but apparently the kwa m9 has a plastic slide. could someone please tell me which parts on the kwa m9 ptp are plastic and metal?

Old standard M9 had a plastic slide, but the PTP is all metal except for the outer barrel. But no outer barrel is metal on any of them.
Just make sure you order a PTP and you're good to go.

I recently got an M9 PTP and love it. The quality is certainly there and it packs a good punch. Destroyed the hell out of a gel target :P It blasted the hard plastic behind the target to pieces and the bbs flew right through. Made me LOL.

Personally I think they are ripping off KWA by calling their M9 PTP as well.

But it's your money, it's you who gets to decided how to spend your money.

One thing for sure, no one can touch KWA's customer service.  I haven't even heard KJW have any customer service program.  Anyone else?!

KJW are entry level pistols if you ask me. the m9 PTP is phenominal in my opinion. best gas system, reliable long term, just all around higher end. and bonus, decocking safety. KJW and KWA are not the same ballpark. I think the only regret i have that involved KWA at all was when i was first starting out i bought a new KJW lisenced sig instead of a new KP8 at the time. i ended up trading the sig for a used KP8 within a year. always wished i'd just bought KWA new, but everyones a noob at some point. I definatley enjoyed that elaboration, adamlxlx

lol. anyway you should definitely get the kwa if you plan on using it during actual airsoft games. if you just want to shoot a target then the other brand will cost less, even though it may break faster.
