Spiggy introduced me to them. They even have holsters for any pistol with any light you choose. (Ex. M9 with a streamlight/surefire or sig 226 with a M3)
Try not to only follow what most people buy, there is always something better.

As for which holster is "best," thats YOUR decision. Its an opinion, yes some are better than others but theres no real "best."

However in a city-scape duty situation, it would be pretty useful in close quarters. Especially if a combatant attempts to disarm you.

But yeah... Bladetech is awesome. Expensive but if you shoot real steel. It's worth every penny.

Assuming the pistol is your secondary weapon a cheap nylon holster with a retaining strap either tight to your belt or on the front of whatever "tactical vest" you use won't allow for the fastest presentation of the pistol, but it will be there when you need it and after a few months you can make a more informed decision on what money to spent (or not). A lot of vests include a holster that fits the M9 and one may be the best choice of all as every thing in integrated into a single unit.
