If you go to a bore-up solution, you eliminate a lot of good aftermarket products that are designed for non-bore-up. The very nice Prommy piston heads and cylinder heads (which I have on my M4A1), just to name a few.

I also noticed that the kit includes an air nozzle, which may be needed for the bore-up, but will probably not fit the hopup chamber.

Are you certain you want to go this route? Did someone recommend that you go bore-up? Seems more suited to a weaker design to eek out a few more FPS; you do not have this issue.

If you are hard set on opening your gearbox . . . you really are better off ordering the 509 barrel, a NB (non boreup) Systema type 0 cylinder, and just in case, the M110 spring (cheap insurance). Add all the parts except the spring and tune/chrono your gun. If too fast for your games, open it back up and try the 110 spring. You'd end up with an accurate, fast, firearm with a very good ROF that will be easy on your gears and last a long time; what more could you ask for?

You also need to ensure you have a good way to cover the extra inner barrel that will be sticking out. Got this on your initial parts list.

would putting a longer barrel on a 500fps gun lower the fps to around 400? IE: type 2 cylinder designed for a 363mm barrel shooting 500fps then put a 507mm barrel on the same setup give u the need fps decrease for limited fps games?.......

Just to correct some things...

The good news is that you could elect to try the longer barrel without touching your gearbox (always the safe plan) and see what that does for your accurracy and speed; get you through your game. With a game in less than two weeks, this might be all you can experiment with, given ship times, installation, tweaking your bucking for accuracy, and any sight adjustments. If you encounter any problems, you are then just dealing with swapping out the hop up chamber and bucking.
Can't really do that! Since your cylinder wont match your barrel lenght youll get barrel suck and have like 300FPS with no accuracy, if your lengthing your barrel you must get a proper cylinder to match it. So in the end not really a safe plan, he'll have to open'er up.

And Bore-ups are ment for M120 and up.

Roger that on the corrections; thanks, Vic. Just more proof to believe half of what you read (data came from other sites and posts), and that too little knowledge can be dangerous.... Cheers, sir.

Ejec19 - Good call on the plan and use of an airsmith. Look forward to your update.
