After a basic take down of the gun and cleaning some of the gunk off of the rails and such, I attempted to reassemble it and could not get the Take Down Clamp back into the slot while the barrel pin was in place. Is it supposed to be a difficult fit?

Granted, I don't know which way the take down clamp is supposed to go back in (As it's an asymmetrical shape), but I couldn't get it in regardless of whether I had the flat side up or down.

remove the pin, place the clamp (sans spring), then place the pin.  Then place the spring.

The rounded side goes up, the flat stamped surface faces down

Odd. The manual says put the pin in first, then put the clamp in to lock it in place O.o I'll try it your way when I get home though. Thanks!

Step 6 on the manual already shows the clamp in placement.  Though I will point out that it's easier to deal with if you don't install the spring until after the pin is placed

Oh bollocks. I just reread that again... And I lol'd. Thanks for the help.

On a side note...I may have lost that spring in the massive junkyard that is my living room. I have a general idea of where it is, at least :D
