If you have never break an M4 down before, I wouldnt do it. Bring it to the store or have someone that "know" how to open it and do it for you while you learn. Your best bet is youtube on how to open a Version2 gearbox, even that I still would not risk opening it yourself unless you know what you are doing.

I have a nice link for taking apart your gearbox.

I don't think it would effect your gears if your motor is fried, but in canse you want to take it apart try this site-
www.mechbox.com

Before go there, you may want to think about sending your gun in to KWA if you still have your warrenty.

If not, try mechbox.com out and search to AEGS and go to m733 (That is the Marui version of the m4).

As for gearbox, it is a version 2, and that should be on the sight, too.

Good luck!

I think you may have gotten a lemon.

I reccommend the Systema Turbo, you would get TONS of bbs per second.
