Your only choice is down grade the spring.

Based on what I read it's close to 40 fps drop.

Some people will call that cheating.

Easy raise the FPS Limit, it's at 380 so might as well go the full 400 fps

If you use heavier BB's at a chrono and those are the BB's you plan to use all day, then I don't see how that's cheating since you are under the FPS limit. Unless your organization requires to use .20 at the chrono.

If that's the case, i recommend asking someone for a loaner for the day and switch out the spring for future events.

Turn the Hop up all the way up. It will lower FPS at least 30 points. After chrono simply reset hop up. This whole FPS limit is stupid. The field I play at has no limit and no one under 18 years old.

No, the FPS limit is not stupid.  It prevents people from getting hurt, but I guess that's stupid.....    With no FPS limit, people could go to a field with a 600 fps AUTOMATIC rifle and do some serious damage.  I think the KWA M4s usually settle in at 380 once the spring is broken in, so go shoot some rounds through your gun.

Don't cheat, it's unfair and it's dishonest.  Call your field and ask them if you can get by at 400 fps.  If not, you will have to let your spring settle in and it still might be too high.

They should let you slip by.

If not, you could stick on the flashider and hope no one notices, or you could use heavy bbs.

You could also put the hop - up all the way up.

And my KM-4a1 settled around 390- 395 so I would reccommend a spring swap for future games.

I also support the fps limit. Too high can really hurt, and could injure someone, so I think a 400- 450 fps max would be nice. This would allow people to have an m120 spring with decent upgrades.

Alright... I am locking this thread.  If your field have a FPS limit and your gun is shooting too hot.  You need to make the necessary down grade or get a different gun.  Getting pass chrono by turning on hopup, using heavier BB's and using decelerator (don't work anyway in full auto) etc... is really a dishonorable act.

Anymore talk about this type of topic I'll be handing out warnings.
