I don't have any tension on the gears and I have the Sector gear properly lined up (I think).  The small round metal guide on top of the Sector gear is next to the tappet plate.  The gun will go through 1/2 revolution and jam.  When I view the mechbox I see that the spring is under tension and the piston cocked back.  When I open the mechbox the spring releases tension and gears go flying all about :-)

Everything is OEM except the spring......   I see that other folks have upgraded to the M130 so what am I missing here other then skills.

In case it is helpful, here's a great vid on controlling the spring during disassembly/reassembly and setting the gear timing.

Post how you make out, because I will soon be embarking on the same upgrade!

When you say jam, do you mean your gears lock? Try taking it apart and reassembling it as directed in tutorials.

Thanks for the vid it's a good one and I have seen that before.... I'm wondering if the spring is too long.... What is the difference between an M130 and a SP130?

This is what I purchased

Gears lock because I think the piston is fully compressing the spring and needs to be release but the teeth of the sector gear is still engaged.

What kind of battery are you using? I could be that your battery is too week, your motor is not aligned properly or your motor is worn out and is having trouble pulling the m130 spring I doubt this is the case though.
