I have to opportunity to buy a M93R I for a fairly inexpensive price, but I've heard that it can only take HFC because of the plastic slide. Since there are Metal slide kits available out there, I was wondering if I installed the Metal slide kit, would I be able to run Green Gas or Red Gas, or would there be more modifications needed to make this possible?

Thanks So Much!

the KWA version has a metal slide and can accept both propane and green gas out of the box

The KSC version comes with the plastic slide and can't take propane although.

Awesome, it's a KWA, so I think I'll be buying this! Thanks a lot!

there are very very early KWA guns that may have plastic slides.  So it's not impossible to find such a thing

Green Gas only, propane is not an approved source of propellant and will void your warranty.
