the p226 isn't necessarily a "LE" its a ptp "professional training pistol" it wouldn't be any less harder to find if it weren't a ptp.
secondly KWA is mostly a pistol company. its a luxury that there making other things other then pistols. plus its hard to manufacture good airsoft guns. quality comes first in my book then armament.

The P226 is a LE production gun. It is made in limited numbers mainly for law enforcement training but some retailers do order them in even more limited numbers to sell to the airsoft public.

Seriously? Full Metal Kit for Five-seveN?   Don't you know the entire gun is a Tupperware gun??!!   :fish:

And yes you're correct, I got a bit ahead of myself. When I said FMK it was referring to making the TM GG/Propane capable without having to worry about it breaking. A member of the AOSC has one and he always gets FMKs for his pistols and recently got a Five-seveN and a Guarder slide and lower for it, so I do apologize for getting ahead of myself and using the wrong term.

i stand corrected but the gun would still be just as popular.

Any news on the mag cap for the vector? Also, I would love to use this gun in a CQB setting however I am worried that it is going to shoot too hot for the 350fps max that my local CQB locations require. Any chance it will fire under 350fps? If it's over that it would be pretty much useless for what I would like to use it for.

After handling the kriss, I found that it is a very unergonomic weapon. It is almost impossible for me to reach the fire selector on the right side due to the folding stock. also, the way you hold make it very hard to press the mag catch if your a southpaw. the stock also has some decent wobble but that may have just been mine. If your lefty like me, this may be an uncomfortable gun.

It's kind of funny actually. picture the hinge of the stock like a g36. but the selector switch is positioned right in front of the hinge. that being said, you cannot fit your thumb in-between the gap because it is to small. so you can't push down in the switch. it kinda stupid the way they designed the kriss. because it has a an ambi selector, you would think it has been designed for lefties but alas we are wrong. If someone can figure out how to overcome the mag release and selector issues fir a leftie, please share your knowledge.

Really not sure why KWA went for the Airsoft version of a gun that, except for in a video game, It's rather a poor weapon in real life. The Defense Department rejected the weapon system when in testing, it proved to be problematic; Having failure rate that set off warning lights. Even civilian versions at auction were a hard sell, as the dirt has been out on this weapon for some time. As for the TV show "Future Weapons" that showed this weapon to be better than sliced bread. Don't forget they get paid too. Some contractors pay big money to produce demo/commercials that get shown to the men upstairs. These guys dumped some money a the TV producers and bingo, celebrity weapon.

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder and to me it's downright UGLY. Looks like the MP7 and MP9 got higher than a Kite, made Mad Monkey Love, gave birth to a child that resembles one of the Villians from the movie "Wrong Turn".

Do you have any link of reference on that?!  I can't find any.  The only issue is the Ejection port issue which have been fixed already.

LOL... you are doing it wrong.

If I have the gun here I can do a video and show you how it's done.  Trust me, it's lefty friendly.

Yes, I have a realsteel Kriss Super V and there are no problems. too many keyboard commandos "hear rumors" online. But rarely any of them have fired more than "rental time" on a Kriss Super V.

I took mine thru the rigors of a tactical carbine class. the Kriss Super V held its own with 9 AR-15s. I was even abel to engage steel at 200 yds. I was doubtful but the safety officers and instructor were interested if .45 cal could be shot that far. Sure enough it hit the steel with a decent amount of force. not quite as much as a .556 round but enough to bounce off with energy.

I shot 500+ rounds in three days. dont tell me about mythical problems unless you had them yourself.

The only issue I have had is loading the Kriss with a full 30rd mag or even the full 13rd Glock 21 mag on a closed bolt. It is very very hard to push those rounds down to engage the mag catch. Simple solution, make sure bolt is opened when loading fresh mag.

Also ejecting a FTF (fail to fire) or unfired round is probelmatic with the mag in. So just strip the mag out first and then eject the round.

Otherwise smooth operation and easy to keep sights on target even when hammering the trigger.

Sadly I will be in vegas next week but leaving before Shotshow aagggh. oh well. I will have my friends take a look for me.

I just pulled out my Kriss and I can engage the selector with my left thumb. I just wrap it around the hinge.
