I, no kidding, teared up in excitement after seeing the announcement for KWA's decision and opportunity to create a Kriss Vector: http://www.kwausa.co...?showtopic=3195

I'm so excited! I've always wanted a Kriss Vector, and was severely disappointed when Madbull scrapped theirs. As soon as KWA releases theirs, I'm going to be one of the first in line to buy one! I have no fear or concerns about the KWA Kriss Vector being of poor quality, because KWA is not synonymous with bad. The only words that can be used in conjunction with KWA are "amazing, fantastic, perfect, etc."

KWA is my favorite company. Out of the 3 guns I've always wanted, KWA will be making 2 of them. I've been waiting for their LM4, and now I'll be waiting for their Kriss Vector. I just need to convince them to make a 1911 MEU and then I'm set... *hint, hint, wink, wink*  ;)

Good Morning

I was very excited a few years ago few airsoft company took more interest into making 1911's, and my jaws dropped when ours was introduced. I have to admit, you are not the first one to comment on how KWA should make a MEUSOC pistol. Let me set the record straight, there were some incorrect information on the models and the lineage of the so called "MEUSOC or MEU" pistol.

Here is a little history and info, MEU stands for "Marine Expeditionary Unit" and MEUSOC actually means MEU(SOC) "Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) Simply put, its a exercise that the MEU unit goes through, its not a unit designator for SPECOPS. The MEU is the smallest of the Marine Ari-Ground Task Force (MAGTF). Each of the MEU contains Ground, Air, Logistics and Command elements. When I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, I was with 3rd Battalion 1st Marines (3/1) When we deployed we were called BLT (Battalion Landing Team) 3/1 and we became the "GROUND UNIT" for the MEU.

Now, within the MEU, Force Reconnaissance Team were assigned to us, they were the ones that were issued the 1911’s however they were not called the MEUSOC pistol,  just 1911’s along with that M92FS, MK22 Hush Puppies were among the few different pistols at their disposal as well, and sometimes the MK23 too.

The 1911 pistol that was assigned to various Marine recon units in different locations was simply upgraded or sometimes refurbishment colt/ Springfield 1911 that were re-assigned from the army, and on some the lower frame of the pistols it would say "Property of the US Army". It was not until the establishment of MARSOC and DET-1 that the funding came down for the ICQB 1911 Pistols. Even so, the ICQB pistols were just for the top operators in DET-1. Currently, the pistols you see that are called "MEU(SOC)" pistol are hand fitted Springfield 1911 with a few minor upgrades.

The misunderstand came when black on black 1911’s was introduced as “MEUSOC” pistols, leading a lot of players thinking its another unit like the SEAL’s or DELTA FORCE, its merely a exercise for Marines to get ready for deployment.

To be honest, there are several variation of the “MEU” pistol, it all depends what picture you have seen, there are some MEU pistols that I have seen with Hogue grips, or black colored G10 grips, when you are in Force Recon you tend to have a little more flexibility with your equipment. What you can do is this, if you want that look this is what you can do: Use our MK1-1911 (Black), Pachmayr 02919 1911 grip, and switch out the rear sight and you will have yourself a "MEU" 1911 pistol

If it has a blowback similar to the real steel it would be a win. Personally I like the MP7 better :punk: .

Vector is really a dull/boring looking gun.

I don't understand why KWA would make one of these, well, any reason other than to milk all of the millions of Modern Warfare 2 fans wallets out there.

Would've liked a P90 rather.

A GBB P90 would be interesting to see. The vector only has a 5.5inch barrel that's not going to be very accurate.

The only issue with a GBB P90 is there are no moving parts on the real gun in terms of blow-back that you see. The shells eject from the bottom of the gun through a port. A GBB might fire nicely but its not as "sexy" as other guns with regard to moving parts.:gun:

If the mechanism was visible underneath the gun it would be kind of neat.

How is this dull?
http://www.kriss-tdi...smg-45-acp.html
it has so much going on.
and even though i like mw2 i hate the vector in the game but love it in real life i mean this is a break through KWA will be the only company out there to have created an airsoft vector Kriss super v.
Although i would go for a gas p90 also.  :jump:

It's not so much dull, it just looks overdone IMO
To me it basically looks like a Glock with a cheap stock, rail system, and gigantic oversized grip where the mag also goes.

While KWA is at it, they should make a FAMAS, ACR, AUG, "Barrett '.50cal'", Desert Eagle, PP2K, and MP5K.

I want H&K liscensed UMP gas blowback, not because it has been in any vidya games, it just looks damn sexy with the long mag and unique stock.
And a FNH liscened Five-seveN GBB

+1 on the Five-seveN. I would buy that without any hesitation. A threaded barrel would be cool too. There's just something awesome about a 5-7 with a laser and suppressor.

Don't all it a 5-7.. if you are gonna call it a 5-7 just call it a fifty-seven... Five-seveN's and the Forty-Nine are both pistols that you are supposed to spell out the name so that the FN tradename is visible. If you didn't know that FNH made the Five-seveN and the Forty-Nine, would 5-7 and 49 tell you who made them.. Nope!

ANyway.. yes.. KWA a Five-seveN would be GREAT! Since you didn't make a SCAR GBB yet had to get one from someone else, but I'd rather not have to buy a TM Five-seveN and the FMK for it.

To be honest, I think KWA has way too small of an arsenal, rifle and sub machine gun wise. I mean what's up with only stoner rifles and a g36c and only like three subs, they should make some more rifles. And keep pumping out those subs like this TDI then hurry up and get that specwar on the market, and also take the M226 out of "LE" production so it isn't so hard to get ahold of them. THAT would be prayers answered for me.

the p226 isn't necessarily a "LE" its a ptp "professional training pistol" it wouldn't be any less harder to find if it weren't a ptp.
secondly KWA is mostly a pistol company. its a luxury that there making other things other then pistols. plus its hard to manufacture good airsoft guns. quality comes first in my book then armament.

Seriously? Full Metal Kit for Five-seveN?   Don't you know the entire gun is a Tupperware gun??!!   :fish:
