OK here is the problem. 2 brand new 40rd KWA Mags only shoots 16rds then need to refill with gas. My short 20rd mag no problem, and my 40rd mag that comes with my MP7 no problem. These mags are brand new. What could cause this.Mags are not leaking gas as I even stored them over night and still can only get 16rds out of one mag each.Could it be top Valve is releasing to much gas?And both these Mags shoot like this straight out of the box.I fear buying anymore mags until I can solve this problem.Like I sad the mag with the MP7 shoots fine.Thank you for any advice.Oh I am using green gas.And I did test the mags for leaks using one those gas detectors I borrowed.

Try filling up your mag till it hisses, usually about 20 seconds. If you have a valve key try to tighten the valve.

Never heard of 40rd mag only holds enough gas for 16 rounds.

Try the following..

1. fill the gas longer
2. try NEW can of gas

I am ordering a Valve key today and see if tightening the Valve will solve the issue.
I tried 1. fill the gas longer 2. try NEW can of gas, mag till it hisses, usually about 20 seconds.
Evike Tech support said try to Chrono the mags. Maybe the release Valve is letting out to much gas per BB.
Until I get the Valve Key,and a chrono in I will shelve the 2 Brand new mags.
Yap max amount of BB shot per brand new mag is 16BB's :(

Be careful wuth the valve key. These gbb valves are made of soft metal and can become deformed if you try to torque them too much. You can always dunk the mag in a bucket of water to check to see if there are any leaks.

Willus is right, If you ever try use a valve key. Make sure you dont put alot force into it, but ya other than that that's all I can think of. Oh ya one more thing for all the newbie people out there, "before using a BRAND NEW MAG, please put silicone oil first before using it or you will break the o-rings that support those valves" in other words your mag wont last that long (breaking the o-rings and it will have a bad leak. A 20 wt. silicone oil would do, it has to be "pure silicone oil", when I say pure I Meant "pure". Don't use anything that has aerosol mix with silicone oil. Goodluck

I just lost the O-ring in my (refill/injection) valve of my new KWA mp7 magazine, while I was trying to fill it with gas. I was wondering if these two would be compatible?

I couldn't find any KSC injection/refill valve anywhere. Are these two compatible with the KWA mp7 magazine?

You knoow you could go to your local malls piercing shop and get #14 gauge earring rubberbands. I use them for my replacement fill valve O-rings and they work great. They're silicon rubber so they are the correct material, I guess.

This is subjective, I still have guns made in the 80's on original valves.  Though a light oil coat prior to installation won't kill you either.   But just saying

I stand by not using aerosol mix oils though. Not good for your gun

are these the one's your talking about? If so, how would it work if its longer than the usual rubber band, wouldn't you have a hard time filling up your mag's with gas? If these are not the one's you're talking about. Can you please post a picture or send a link where I can get these earring rubber bands. Thanks

Because of the shape of the ones you have in the picture I don't think they will work.
I am talking about 14guage rubberbands they are made to keep tapered earings on.
They look like the ones in the picture I attached to my response.

I asked around in every piercing shop i went to. They never heard of a rubber band that short, which make think that they're dumb. I cant find them, so I just bought the nine ball fill valve. If you could find one for me and sell me some that would be great. Thanks
