-The KWA is a High end AEG I think it deserves High end marking like Real Engraved Markings instead of cheap D-boys like markings would be nice just like CA and othe high end AEGs

-Anodized Body to give it a matte look and prevent the paint from coming off easily.

-Better Material on the Hop.

-REAL Bearings instead of washers on the piston head and the spring guide.

Have to agree with karMeister some nice laser engravings on the body and a new hop-up and maybe offer a Tight-bore barrel stock like G&G.And maybe a three round burst ;)

Yes,
  • An Improved Hop Up System/Bucking (applying the principals of FireFly's V-Hop and Madbull's newer sealing technology AND maybe a metal Hop Up System for the folks who do want one. And If going over the limit of 400 fps might be a challenge, compensate by using a more ported cylinder if using a m120, or use a m110 but a non ported cylinder or whichever is more productive and less costly for you guys)
  • A newer Stock Tightbore (other than a 6.05 that varies from -.03 to +.03. Believe me, I would hate to have purchased a barrel with 6.08 ID)
  • Improved and Durable trigger system/trigger block (Some owners complained about their trigger blocks breaking. My personal problem was having a KWA M4 shipped to my house with a faulty trigger and selector switch and I had to replace it, which took about 3/4 of a month to get back)
  • Realistic Trademarks with Anodized Body (A Classic Army costs a little more than or as much as a KWA, but KWA has better internals BUT NO TRADEMARKS? Makes me wanna scratch my head)
  • Fixed wobbly stock (even though thats not really a big problem)
  • Sorbothane Pads for the Piston Head (To improve the lifespan of the front gearbox and reduce fear of dry firing to clear chamber. Check this link http://www.kwausa.co...o...18&hl=sorbo AND http://www.filairsof...ad.php?t=43728)
  • Forward Assist Button that Decompresses Spring (Again, this would really help, as long as it will not lower the quality and strength of the gearbox and if it is less costly for you guys)

This would make the 2009 M4 worth its price tag. Thats my 2 cents and with that, it will be definitely be considered "Engineered to Outperform."

The best thing that I would suggest would be a newer 2009 model sperate from other KWA models, in a way where there is no hop-up bucking, nub, and inner-barrel, and a lower price tag. This would allow the gun to be cheaper for those who are upgrading their gun to save money and not have spare parts lying around. Other companies havent done this before, but I would rather buy a gun without a barrel, bucking, and nub because I know no matter what Im going to replace it.

Thanks, DaTigah. You basically said everything I would like to see on the new KM-4 series.

I like all of these ideas so far. There are only a few things I could really add to all of the stuff said already.

---I would LOVE to see more versions of the KM-4, for people going for a certain look have to do less modifications, (for instance, a Sportsline version, Designated Marksman Rifle, a Grenadier Model, ect.,) so my friends could experience the killer KM-4 they want with a lower price tag.

--I would also like to see a gearbox that fixed the trigger post issue. It scared my buddies.

--Just one more, a 2 piece gearbox would make things so much easier to change springs and do small stuff with.

--The 2 most important things I want to stress, though, are the forward assist button that decompresses the spring, and I REALLY want a gearbox with markings on it. I almost switched to a G&P body because of it, then I looked at the price tag, and I said "Forget it".

It may be too much to ask for, but all of these things would make a better KM-4a1.

I think the KWA KM-4 is already "Engineered to Outperform." These upgrades would make it even better.

Will we get an option to send in our KM-4s for these upgrades after they come out? If not, could we get an option to buy them? I just really want to swap out my gearbox to get one with markings...

.You mean the lower receiver?

1= 1 rails would also  be nice. If they put all these suggestions into action I guess KWA should change the slogan to

"what else are you looking for?"   ;)

Yup, but I still think that personally, if KWA would like to look more "pro" for expeirenced buyers and players, they should make another model and drop the price tag and disclued inner barrel, bucking, and nub. To make it for the expeirenced player to save money for the upgrades they will be doing anyways.

P.S. their slogan should be "if a systema were to be on steroids, it would be a KWA. If a KWA were to be on steroids, it would be a real gun."

hehehe! That sounds more like an Inokatsu = Buy real steel like body then buy your choice of internals
Great Idea especially if KWA make ral steel like finishes with  lower price tag to make Ino cry

This shouldn't wait until 2009!  The M4 hop-up unit needs to have a wider inner diameter to accommodate more aftermarket hop-up buckings.  A metal hop-up unit would be nice!

As I've stated before, the KWA hop-up differs from all the other manufacturers so getting an aftermarket hop-up unit is out of the question.

Agreed, I hate when I enter the feild with my KWA and other people with their JG's just shrug it off. KWA already has a legendary reputation, but I think they should build one similar to systema but lesser of a price tag. I want to see KWA's look pro, not recreational, not PTW... pro. To do so they should just establish some sort of package that would apeal to a expeirenced player, in the way I suggested. They already have a Pro Shop, just time to follow through with their gun, performance upgrade parts will take off at the pro shop then, especially if you offer the gun with barrel and bucking installation direct from factory instead of middle men like stores.

Less parts + Less Price tag + pro rep. = appealing sales to those of expeirence and those who want to learn

Why fix a problem like hop-up or their apparent "bad accuracy" when they could simply disclude it.

Well first I think its fantastic that KWA is asking us for advice. Forward thinking like that will put ( keep ) KWA on top. I have 4 KWA M4s and agree with the above posts as far as some of the changes for 09. Keep the great guns coming......r

i agree with this. i haven't purchased my KWA yet(going to very soon), but it irks me that i would have to dremel or file the lower reciever to fit a 1 piece metal hop? i think a change to the hop up system in the near future would be a good thing.

I would like to se a slide apart metal body with a one piece upper receiver.

I would also like to see a better outer barrel setup. I have a slight wobble in mine that doesn't seem to drastically affect performance, but it does bug me immensely that it is there.

I don't mind having KWA trades but maybe redesign the logo to look better.  For instance some G&G AR series guns have the G&G logo with a real steel look to it. ;)

Almost forgot to add - Something that would stop that annoying thing that holds my sling in the front of my KM-4a1 would be nice, and I am aware I can put tape on it, I just something that looks ... factory fresh!

Just one of those small things that would make it cooler!  :)

You guys should produce more models such as an M4 RIS with a cranestock.  I would love it if you guys made a G36K and a G3.
