hey all,i just recently bought a kwa,but i have about 5 years in airsoft.
but my KM4 is not wanting to accept my Classic Army one peice barrel, the hop-up sticks inside of it,and i had to shave down the arm to have it not engage all the time, but it had hoorible feeding problems, and it had massive air loss, around 60 fps or so.

my KM4 has a Madbull Dragon Fire 12.5 inch rail
                     DBC custom barrel
and i had the one peice barrel on but i swapped it,just so i can shoot <_<

but my question is this, what after market, user tested one peice outer barrel is 100% compatible with the KM4?
any help is appreciated

Dude all inner barrels are one piece and the outer barrel has nothing to do with your air compression. It's the outer barrels that can be a two piece barrel. Are you talking about a one piece hop up unit. If your talking about a one piece hop up unit than that's your problem right there. kwa airsoft rifles take 2 piece hopup units, the feeding tube is seperate from the actual hop up unit. You shouldn't be using a 1 piece hop up unit in your gun, infact if you are, I'm suprised you got it in the gun!

I'm sorry I just reread your post and I know what your talking about now. Your barrel is probably sliding to far into the barrel and it made a bigger gap from the hop up unit to the air nozzle. That barrel is not meant for the kwa gun. You can swap barrels though, did you swap out this piece too?

http://www.airsoftpo...oducts_id=27886

When you look at the picture I'm talking about the piece on the bottom thats like 2-3in. long. If you swapped that piece out with the barrel than that's probably why your getting your fps loss. You should leave the old one in that comes with the gun and if you can put just the outer barrel of the classic army into it. To clearify, the piece I'm talking about is the piece that mounts the outer barrel or that the outer barrel slides into. I hope you could make sense out of my response....

i understand what your saying, but its just that i want a one peice barrel,to eliminate the wobble i have with my current set-up.
what your saying is that kwa's arent compatible with any other after market outer barrels?

Kwa's outer barrels are like the most rugged and solid barrels. Is yours wobbling? What you have to do is losen all the screws at the bottom and push the barrel all the way in and tighten the screws really tight with some locktite liquid. I'm am telling you that kwa's barrels have no wobble whatsover once you get them secured and there way better than any classic army, g&g, or other brand. Keep your old barrel, that is one of the things about kwa that I liked is that there so durable!

KWA outer barrel is an adjustable one piece barrel and it doesn't wobble like the TM.  The 4 set screws at the base is use for adjusting the length when combine with other rail set.

that's weird... I was just working on the Barrel today and there is no wobble at all.   I know some rail system their delta ring doesn't screw all the way in the receiver.  It's a thread issue.  The G&P rail have this problem.  But the "Knock off" La Rue rail from Ebaybanned works prefect.  FYI, if the delta ring isn't screw all the way in the reciver your barrel will be loose.  Hence you get the barrel wobble.

you sure its all the way in? You migh wanna screw all the screws lightly then tighten the two adjacent screws slowly.

Anyway abou the rail system to prevent wobble, a piggyback style rail system or an MRP will work best. (S-SYSTEM, CASV for Piggyback style)

hmmm,

i got the the dela ring as far as it would go,maybe its just that the threads dont match.
i'll keep working on it and see where i go with it.

and the rail system doesnt wobble, just the barrel.i might just get the JG/echo free float rail off of asgi.

Does it move back and fore?  if it does then the rail isn't screw all the way the receiver.

Once the screws are loose enough I think you can just slide it.

There are 4 screws right in front of the delta ring. You have to remove the handguard to see them  :)

You should go onto ASC (Airsoft Canada) KWA's are going for near $700, JG's are only like $400 XD Canada sucks for airsoft :(
