I looked down the barrel after opening the box and there's like paper or something stuck in there.

What gives???

Does the warranty cover this?

What gives is that the forces of nature sometimes will send stuff down an open space.

Try using the old clean the barrel trick.  If that doesn't get the paper out, warranty is your only chance.  :P

It won't come out, its like a sticker or something.

Where did you get the gun from?  There should not be any object in the barrel.

I've read about a couple people having "stickers" in their M4 barrels lol.  (one was on ASGI.....but I read some others elsewhere)

Maybe get a cleaning rod and try to scrape the crap out.  It might help if you take your barrel out and remove the hop up.  (I don't know if this voids warranty though.....)

Yeah, I don't know why KWA would put stickers in the barrels.....lol

If you can't get the crap out, I guess you can send it in, or wait until the warranty is over and swap out the barrel for an aftermarket one.  (I suggest a prommy)

I assume the "sticker" is affecting your accuracy?  Perhaps if you can't scrap it out, you could try shooting bbs through it and hope it clears some out.

I'd try and get a picture of it but its kinda hard since its at the end of the barrel near the hop up.

I got it from AirsoftGI.  I'll see what they have to say about it.

You can take the barrel (with hopup) out by splitting the upper from the lower receive after removing the pin on your lower reciever just like the real steel takedown.

I dont think he wants to void the warrenty at all. Im not sure if taking it apart will void your warrenty.

Sorry for being a smart a**.  Okay, well, you should take your barrel out, hop-up unit off, and see what the heck it is.  Maybe it's the hop-up nub...doubt it, but it could be.  Take pics.

I doubt taking your barrel and hop-up unit apart will void the warranty, unless you broke it, in which case, you deserve to have the warranty voided.

My friend had crap in his barrel too.
It was shooting rather inaccuratly so he waited till after his warrenty expired to open it up and it was like some wierd sticky crap on the inside of the barrel.
He used the hard plastic part of his cleaning rod and finally scrached it out.  Now its pretty damn accurate.
I love KWA but they need to tighten their quality control.

 I have heard reports of stickers in the barrel but no one here at KWA has ever seen one.   Anyone with the problem should contact KWA customer service for an RMA so we can exchange the inner barrel and examine it for ourselves.  Thank you.

My buddy just pulled out his inner barrel and found some sticky sticker like stuff in his M16 too.  We both love KWA but it seems whoever is producing the inner barrels for KWA is having some trouble. lol.  Any way, he is past his warranty period so we just cleaned the crap out of it.

Still love ya KWA!

I never posted my follow up, but AirsoftGI just sent me a new barrel after I called them, awesome customer service.

Could you PLEASE post a picture. I myself, and I'm sure the staff at KWA are interested to see what you are talking about.
