hey guys im a noob to airsoft so i need your help i just got the kwa m4a1 like 2 months ago.

first thing i notice is that when firing in semi the trigger locks !  i would have to go to auto and fire a few rounds and then semi would work again?  what would cause this?

second on semi some times when i fire the bb come out and drops to the ground maybe 5 feet ?  any ideas what that would be?

third i have a promethius 407/6.03mm tb and the stock hop up does seem to improve the trojectory! at about a hundred feet the bbs start to arch down wards?  please help! oh i have fired about 17k bbs through the gun!

what BB's are you using, name and weight. Also, whats your gun chronoing in at?

I have never heard of a KWA's trigger locking up, atleast mine never has, in lower quality ICS, CA, TM and other guns, they lock often.

Have you cleaned your Barrel yet, it could have dust adn debre in it.

i use .25 ksc bbs and .25 airsoft elites and they chronos at 362 consistantly.  yah sometimes the trigger locks it wierd but it not a big deal cause im on full auto and lipo on the skirmishes ! right now im using the elites so do u think it could be the bbs?   anyways i notice that my bucking is worn out ! so that maybe my accuracy problem ! will have to test it out with my new systema bucking.

am i suppose to lube up the piston "???

That has nothing to do with your piston. When you put your prometheus you probably installed the hop up bucking wrong. Your bucking should not be worn out after only 17,000 rounds. Try reinserting your bucking. Clean your barrel and lube up your hop up chamber and feeding tube. After that shoot a couple mags worth and your lube will be dispersed throughout everything. I think reinserting your bucking will do the trick though and also look through your hop up chamber as you insert your barrel. Ingage your hop up and look if the little bumb inside is crooked. You want to rotate your barrel so that it's perfectly straight or else your bbs will be curving when you ingage your hop up.

for some reason the bucking is worn !  the slice that goes into the top of the barrel is worn like a shape of a bb.   i got a systema bucking and it is a pain to get in but i got it in.  it seems to work okay alot better accuracy at 100 feet and the bbs goes strait .  i have the hop up fix now.

how oftens should i lub the hop up chamber?  and do i need to lub the piston cylinder?
and why would the bbs just drop in 5 feets? should i take the gear box aparT? im looking to get a stronger spring soon.

Don't get a new spring yet. I would just play with your gun for a while. You should just get a Guarder aluminum ventilation ball bearing piston head for now. If you upgrade your spring to a an m130 your rof is going to drop drastically and you'll be classified sniper for alot of games until it settles. Also get a guarder ball bearing spring guide. Don't get a new air nozzle, kwa's air nozzles are good! The reason why that line that slides into the line on the barrel has a bb shape is probably, because when you installed your prometheus barrel you streched the bucking. Don't take the gear box apart until you have your upgrades!!!!!!! Explain how your bbs are dropping, I thought you said the systema bucking is making your bbs accurate at 100ft so there flying 100ft, I don't get what your saying. If your bbs are falling out of your barrel or only shooting like a couple of feet than your gun is double feeding and that means that your barrel is too far into your bucking. Put your finger on the air nozzle and shoot a few rounds and if you feel a good amount of air pressure than your mech box is fine. Spray alittle bit of silicone lube into the feeding tube through the magwel of your gun. Than shoot a whole bunch of bbs. Clean and oil your barrel and hop up chamber every bag of bbs or so (about 3-4k bbs). It doesn't hurt to apply alittle bit of silicone gel to the piston every so often, silicone spray works too, just make sure you put very little amount, you don't want that sitting in your gearbox.

well some times on semi it would fire a good round and then the next round comes out and drops to the ground.  i dont see two round just one .  ill turn it on auto and fire some round and then it okay again.  the new hop up seems to be doing the job at the moment.  ill have to mess around with the barrel maybe pull it forward alittle maybe that will help.
