My delivery just arrived today from the kwa pro shop, it is a EDGI 6.03, 160mm TB.

Hey Tiger,
Your was 200mm right? and you bought it from pro shop? I could not find a 200mm length. I mistakely bought a 160mm tb without even looking.
I haven't installed it yet, I need a very small hex wrench. What size was your hex wrench?

hey if you guys want the longer inner barrel. Look it up for KSC mp7 its the same one as the KWA :D I have the same one as TIGER. I must say I had the kwa mp7, but i like my KSC mp7 taiwan better...... trademarks and performance. KWA mp7 by umarex DO NOT I repeat DO NOT shoot 400+FPS the highest it can go is 370-380.

@tiger
thanx :icecream: now I can move ahead with installing a longer tightbore that I have been procrastinating precisely because I wasn't sure how to disassembe the mp7.

I think I might install a 220mm (or slightly longer) tightbore and cover it with a barrel extender to maximize range and fps since I use the mp7 as my primary woodland gun.

As far as the size of the hex wrench; acoording to another thread http://www.kwausa.co...?showtopic=1850 a 1mm hex wrench is needed for the fire-selector, bolt-release, etc. VERY small. :showoff:

Okay,
so my plans for putting in a longer tightbore into my mp7 are starting to materialize. VFC is coming out with a dedicated barrel extender, KWA has that nice thread adaptor, tiger put together that tutuorial and I now have the disposable income to spend on this project. I will probably just get a cheap substiitute barrel extender until the VFC one comes out.
My question is: WHICH kind of inner barrel is compatible with the MP7? I want something longer than the standard 160mm; probably around 220mm but whatever would fit inside the barrel extender nicely.
I'm not sure WHAT the difference is between AEG and gas barrels. I think I read somewhere that the M93 barrel works fine but I'm seeking clarification. Any suggestions would GREATLY appreciated. :notworthy:

this kid keeps bragging about his gun shooting over 400+ FPS, you probably dont even have a chronograph. Talk is cheap, seriously watch all the videos on youtube every video stream website on KWA mp7 and ask anyone from Canada or (www.airsoftcanada.com). They would tell you the same thing, Most kwa's dont shoot that hot over 380 FPS, I mean im sure some shoots that strong (aka first batch). But if your just trying to brag, really you can tell your a kid and likes attention.  :rofl: :whistle:

For me 6.01 is good for single shot sniper rifle but is just too tight for a gun that fires on full auto.
