Ok, so I just bought this gun and am having an issue. Whenever I insert a loaded mag into the gun, gas begins to spray out of the barrel of the gun. However, if the hammer is cocked down before I insert the mag the gun fires perfectly. What gives?

Dunno off the top of my head, but I would assume your impact block or release valve is wonky.

Have you tried another mag?

If not, give the tech center a call. If you just picked this up and still have your receipt, your gun has a 45 day warranty on it.

I thought it was because M93R has a longer-than-usual (insert name of the part that pushes the gas-release button on the back of the mag here, cuz idk what it's called) and so you have to load the mag in with the hammer back? Well, assuming I'm understanding y'all correctly, try locking the slide back then inserting the mag. Release the slide once the magazine's in and it should work fine. This is what I do when using my M93R.
