idk if this is allowed, but I just wanted to ask your guy's opinions.

I'm thinking of getting the KWA M4 RIS (I like M4s, but not a ton)

But I had an idea.

I love G36Ks and this is such a good deal.

An idea hit me, to get the TSD G36K and then swap out the gearbox for a KWA G36C one.  I already have 2 G36C highcaps and the TSD comes with an intellect battery and other nice features.  I know the KWA M4 has superior internals than the G36C, but they will both last a very long time and I will have TWO gearboxes if I get the TSD. (the TSD one and the KWA one)

please forgive me if this isn't allowed

What do you think I should do?  I really love G36Ks and this seems to be a nice one.

thanks and sorry again

I think you should just get whatever you like the most.

My friend has a KWA G36c which he made into a G36k with a CA front barrel and handguard (I think it was CA or some popular company). It is possible, I think the front set was $100 or less   and the CA colour matches well with the colour of KWA's body. Hope I helped

But then you also have to buy the scope and such.  Thanks for the info though.  I know G36K scopes aren't exactly amazing, but it has a rail on top so I can mount a reflex sight.  (I would mainly use the scope for looking around, not shooting)

He kept the C carry handle I think.

I hate the K handle anyways, too big.

I just got one of the new versions of the TSD G36K, and it's very nice.  I think that would probably be a good plan if you really want a G36K.

Yeah booligan says the Gen 3 G36K's gearbox is one of the best out there.  (perfect compression according to him)

It will be out this year too! :D

No, the gearbox now has

The gearbox itself is a reinforced V2 shell, with 8mm ball bearing bushings, steel gears, aluminum cylinder, aluminum ball bearing spring guide, aluminum ported piston head, brass cylinder head which is concave, and features a “bumper” o-ring.

That was booligans quote from his 416 review.  (the V3 has the same stuff)
