I've been using Escort Engine guns for a long time.  The WE looks more like an early MGC engine with the lack of springs than any Tawada Engine I've seen. I can see where the similarities start, but it's only two parts in function compared to other designs. You can say the same with every conventional airsoft gun using a floating valve in the cylinder.  For the most part, the WE Tech engine is unique to itself, and they deserve credit for it.

Then again, viral marketing is easy.  Just say a rumor and it becomes truth in minutes.
