Ok, my problem is a little strange, but when I take out the receiver bolts and try to separate the receivers, they will separate a tiny bit and won't budge after that. The taps are still caught inside the lower receiver. I have no idea what my problem is. I also recently upgraded my barrel to a DBC TB.

You sound somewhat experienced, so if I sound bad, it's not my fault.

Are you are sure the back bolt is out? Keep the front bolt in and just keep pulling, it will come off. They get stiff a little into it, that is normal. Just keep pulling. You should know what you are doing, because you upgraded your barrel.

Quick question, what are the taps? Are they the lower reciever pins? That shouldn't have to do with this.

Good luck! :)

Your piston still have not return to the uncompressed position.  Shoot a few round of semi and try to open again.

Yeah dont forcefully take it out when the piston body is in the way or youll scratch the piston body

Wow, I guess I just assumed the piston was already uncompressed, so I didn't think to do that. Totally escaped me. Thanks a lot guys! And when I said taps I meant the tabs attached to the upper receiver to keep it in place, bad wording on my part, sorry.

This happen to a lot of guns not just KWA.  Just make sure when you are done playing, shoot a few rounds in semi so the piston will release back to the uncompressed position.

ICS' inovation was a beautiful idea to use the forward assit to decompress the spring rather than for show like other guns  :P

HEY I take that as an isult! I wear jeans because I feel a little too nerdy with camo pants. That, and the fact that I don't own any...
