Systema bucking and a DBC barrel fit in the KWA M4?  Keep in mind, I do NOT want to change the hop up unit, just the barrel/bucking.  I have already made up my mind on the DBC barrel, I'm just wondering if it will fit.  I do not want Prometheus.    After reading this topic, DBCs are better in the long run.  (READ through ALL the posts if you don't believe me lol) http://www.airsoftre...p?topic=63159.0

so will this combo work with no modification?  I don't want it to be very tight.

thanks guys

That is the exact combo i have in my KWA m4. Mine fit 1st time with no effort at all. No trimming , no squeezing , no excessive lubimg etc etc. I have heard some people mention that theirs did not fit though.
I would say go ahead and try it, and if the bucking doesnt fit, try a different bucking. You are only out 6 bux then.

my systema bucking is thicker than the stock kwa bucking, I had the hard time installing it because the bucking is thicker than usual..I tried lubing it, I also trimmed it,,in the end I just used the stock bucking..

Its also good to note that products sometimes differ and its hard to tell  the batch. And theres always the "fake" theory.

Same here! No fake parts or low end parts on my high end gun!  I do have a few low end guns that have high end upgrades just to prove that it can perform ehehe!.

@hammer

If it isnt fake I wouldnt call it a bad batch... just different ehehe!

I had trouble fitting my hop-up unit over my Systema bucking as well.  I tried everything from cooling the bucking in my freezer so it would contract to lubing the hell out of it.

Note that this is for both the stock barrel and a Prometheus.

I ended up using my stock bucking.

The new stock buckings are pretty good right?

Well, if worst comes to worst, I'll have to use the stock bucking.

What about firefly buckings?  Or do you recommend another bucking for the DBC combo?

thanks guys

The bucking should match the inner barrel and the hop chamber. Its a hit or miss so you'll have to try it yourselves.
Same brand doesn't mean same size... they sometimes differ by batch when its made.

If your stock parts fit better than the after market parts, then obviously youre better off with the stock parts.

Right here it states under soft and hard buckings that is is very tight on KWA guns. I don't know if they are just referring to the pistols, but I would assume to the rifles, too.

Quick question, will it matter if I get a hard bucking? My gun crono'd at 410 so i think i should get a soft bucking but I am planning on getting a tightbore so...

hard buckings are for 450 fps or more from my understanding.
