What internal upgrades are worth getting for the km4 cqb rifle (besides new bucking). Is it worth it to get a bore up or just a new piston head. I was also thinking on getting a 283mm or 300mm prometheus tight bore in it. Since the barrel is so short is it even worth it getting a $50+ tight bore. If there is a tight bore thats cheaper than prometheus tight bore that will perform the same please tell me cause I havn't found one. How are the JBU tight bores?

Go pro... prometheus ;) Do you still want to have a M4 CQB for CQB... cause why would you bore up if your going to use it for CQB? Cause a bore up is a cylinder that has a larger volume of air then usual. more air... more pressure more fps... but it only works with M120 spring an above. Otherwise it will not achieve full compression. It also doesn't increase FPS until the o-ring on the piston warms up.

Unless your in some CQB open game like karMeister where people use 600+ fps guns

I've installed a JBU 407 tightbore in mine and the performance is very good.  I had good range with the gun stock, suprisingly, but the JBU is making that even farther.  I would upgrade your piston and change the piston head to a poly carb.  The gearbox pretty much takes every upgrade out there so your options are limitless.

It already has an alu piston head. If you feel that there are leaks in the compression parts thats when you seal or change them or when you just plan to up grade. A polycarb piston head is not an upgrade for an alu or dura piston head. Ive had bad experiences with a polycarb piston head.

polycarb piston head tends to warp in high speed or long term use.
