I don't know about you guys, but I'm really excited about the km16 thats coming out in August. I have been waiting for it to come out for so long! The only problem I have with it is that kwa put an m130 spring in the gun this time. Thats bad because then every time you chrono your going to have to play as a sniper because your shooting above 400fps. They should have just left the m120 spring in the gun. If we wanted a sniper we would have bought a sniper, an m16 is not ment for sniping!

I also heard that the Km16 "shoots farther than the its Km4 predecessors"... Hopefully they improved the hop up system / inner barrel

Yeah 400 bucks but it will be better than any other rifle you upgrade using 400 bucks. This thing will be tight!

LOL! If that bothers you alot why dont you just put an m120 yourself?  besides 450fps is too low for sniping... you need to be around 600fps with .3  if youre a sniper.

Is KWA using the same gear ratio?

The KM16 was meant for .25 which will place you just a tad below 400FPS. It will hit a man size target at 150+ feet. :)

All of the components has been "refined" but not redesigned.

$400 is the MSRP, street price will be around $315 ~ $325.

The gear ratio is the same as the KM4 series.

Yep, you've absolutely right ! 450fps is more like to low for sniping. The m130 spring is a good choice and I will put in the gearbox a bore up kit. That's enough.

Yea m130 is a lil bit much but still cool. I would love to get that gun. And again, hopefully they got a new hop up system especially if they wanna make it shoot further than the Km4.

Looks nice, but would be nicer if it had rails  Do yuo know if KWA will be making any M16 variants with rails like the M4S?

As of today, there are no plans to release a railed version of the M16.

I'm guessing you guy's won't say.

A big concern with the m130 is that you can not use for most if not all national events (i.e. lionclaws) and you would need to either wear down that m130 really hard or swap out the spring. But wouldn't swapping the spring out void warranty?

For me this gun is perfect in every aspect. Been waiting for this thing. If KWA would be so nice to send me a sample, my line of KWA rifles and pistols will be complete

KWA all the way!
