To get my gun below 350 can I just put in a weaker spring?  or do I have to change something else?

Just use heavier BBs... and turn hop all the way up when you chrono.

Yeah they will, you just better hope that they don't factor in the fact that it is a heavier bb into the tests...

spray some silicon in the hopup unit and turn all the way up for the hopup. I bet you it will chrono under 350 ;)

Yes you can change the spring. I wouldnt advise it. your gun will settle around 350fps with .25s later.

Yes you can change the spring. Ive changed mine to a M85 for cqb. it chronos at 296-300 on the dot with .25s. ive put alteast 20,000 rounds though it and have not had a problem.

Exactly... for CQB put in a weaker spring. For woodland/range games, put in that stronger spring. Plus this will give you a higher rate of fire for CQB too

Instead of changing the spring why dont you just wear the spring till it goes down to 350 and under. All it takes is like 5000bbs and you'll get the fps just under 350fps.

Around here in MD the FPS limits are 330 and under with .20s for cqb limits. hence the spring change.

You should spit in the barrel when you chrono.

Wow, I heard of cleaning barrels with gasoline, and other crazy techniques of "how to do something" but never "spit in the barrel"

I am not sure if cheat is the correct word.  Basically you are going into the game with a hot gun that could hurt someone.  They use 350 as a limit in CQB because of the close range at which you will be shooting.  Going in with a gun shooting near 400 could do some damage at close range. I would use "endanger" instead.  :)
