When I began to disassemble the gun, the slide stopped. Now I can't move it forwards or backwards. The disassembly lever is all the way down and only comes half way up. The slide will only move several millimeters in each direction and no matter what I do, it will not disassemble or move back to the normal, operating position. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you

looking from the top at the barrel, you should see two slots on the side of the slide.

There should be two protrusions there, are they at the same position or different?

Ok, when did you purchase this M9 and from what location? It'll help me determine the generation of your gun

I bought it very recently, October 12th. From Airsoft GI. I also have not fired the gun at all because I don't have the gas yet.
Thanks

ok! cool.  If you got it recently, as long as you didn't remove the orange or modify your gun, you can actually get warranty repair.

what may have happened is the locking block detached from the barrel assembly and now it doesn't want to go back.  This used to happen on the regular M9, but we resolved it by reinforcing the insides.  This one may need the same reinforced part.  (covered under warranty if your gun applies.)

You can get your RMA number for warranty by contacting the service department on the link below.

Alright, Thanks.

Do I go through GI for the warranty, or KWA? Could you explain how this works as I have never sent anything in for repair before.
Also, do i still need the box to return it? I threw that away.
