In my never-ending quest to be a complete nerd, I decided to test various biodegradable BBs to see which is most efficient in my KG36C.  Note that I recently put a 363 mm long 6.01 mm Edgi inner barrel in my gun, and that I have the 2G bucking (though the hop up was turned all the way down).  My chrono is the Xcortech X3200.  With each BB I used 10 readings and averaged them to get the following results:

Bioval .23g: 402.9 fps 1.73 J
Bioval .25g: 383.6 fps 1.70 J
Excel .25g: 366.9 fps 1.56 J
Bioval .27g: 357.3 fps 1.60 J
G&G .28g: 364.7 fps 1.72 J

I am suprised that the Excels seem to compare so poorly.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but the most efficient BB is the one that has the most energy (not necessarily the highest fps).  If that's the case, it seems the Bioval .23g BBs are the most efficient, with the G&G .28g BBs coming in a close second.  It seems odd to me that those weights would be the closest.  Any thoughts?
