I know the G36C comes standard with a 6.05mm barrel but I was wondering if there would be a dramatic difference in accuracy at 50 yards if I went to a 6.03. I'd wanna try 6.01 but I heard you need to constantly remove that barrel and clean it with alcohol and etc.

At 50 yards I'm getting about 24" groupings using .3's

Whats your current FPS? Your groupings will improve with a TB.
Cleaning the barrel "constantly will mean cleaning it every after 4k or so rounds depending on the quality of BBs you are using.
I clean mine a day before a tournament or a regular game day just to make sure I get the best groupings.
People should stop talking about cleaning Tb barrels like it was a chore.

I clock in about 360fps (using .3's, where I play tends to get slightly windy so they definitely help keep the trajectory on course.) I use TSD High Quality BB's.

I've never really tinkered around with the barrel before, when you clean it, you have to remove the whole thing?

Ouch! dont you just hate windy fields?
That would mean youre only shooting around 240FPs with .3s

2 ways for cleaning it:

1.)You can run the cleaning rod with a piece of micro fibre cloth. (you can do this in the field before a game)
2.)Take the barrel out of the hop assembly and clean it with gasoline using the cleaning rod and microfiber cloth.

the latter will make sure you get that mirror like finish in your barrel again

No, it's at 360 WITH .3's, I usually get 406 with .2's. But I do like the first method of cleaning, just never tried it before, and it seems less intrusive.

Yeah but the 2nd one is more effective and gets all the dirt out

Thats what I wanted to know if putting a 6.03 with 2G bucking yield good results or if it would be negligible
