I have used PDI barrel for gas gun but not on AEG.  However, base on gas gun they are very good but expensive.

Personally I wanted to try a KM barrel and compare it with my Guarder barrel.

I know! They are expensive! They have a 6.01 509mm barrel which is $100+. I want to make sure if anybody has used it, so I can get one. DBC has a shortage of barrels. I was emailed by x-tactical, they said it "might" be months before DBC can get back in the race.

BTW, thanks vic_man4.

Thanks Wardog!!! I'm asking coz I want a full length inner barrel for this......

I want one that runs through all the way to the tip of the silencer! Having doubts about the 509mm. Can anyone confirm that the 509mm will not be too short or too long????

Thanks everyone! Also, I'll be getting a type-0 cylinder for this. Any suggestions???? I got all the time to upgrade my rifle, I kinda popped my knee out the last time I played airsoft, LOL!!! (The pain of war!)

We pretty much have the same setup (except for the magpul stock)! I opened up the receiver and measured from the bottom of hop-up (where the tip of the inner barrel shows) to the tip of the silencer. I'm just concern if the new barrel will be too short. If its longer, I'll just put some washers on the thread to make it a few mm longer.

I got tired of figuring this out so, I made my order today. The PDI 509 mm inner barrel is on its way!

I'll let you know if it works or not! So wait and see!

BTW, how'd you get the red tip off of the pistols????

Uhmmhmh, you use black paint to paint over it, or nail polish or rubbing alcohol to remove it. But I strongly suggest you dont remove it >.>

I just got the 509 barrel. It's slightly shorter than the silencer, about ~4mm. I got the PDI, which has a bigger diameter than the DBC. It fits well into the outer barrel. There was a little problem on the hopup end though, the inner barrel retainer (part#2) is slightly "open" when the PDI barrel was installed but still worked. All I got to figure out now is how to install the type-0 cylinder. I need a way to figure out to take the mechbox out. Any websites you guys know???

JUST PM ME FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS!
