Hey folks it's been a while.  Super busy. Anyway I posted this topic once but never got a reply.  I dropped the idea of turning my LM4 back into a DMR due to money, but I'm up and running again.  If someone could tell me if this barrel is cut correctly for the LM4 as soon as possible that would be AWESOME.  I know it says KSC/KWA but I'm sketchy about it.

I'm in a bit of a rush to get parts ordered since I have an upcoming game soon.

If it's not cut right, anyone know of a similar extended barrel which will work?

Also, is the evo kit for the kriss the same as the lm4? Evike carries the kriss one, can I just buy that?  I havn't seen anyone that has the evo kit labeled as for the lm4 exactly...

Not sure what you mean by "cut."  This barrel is 20" long and will need a long outer barrel to support it, or cut it to 14.5.  The barrel is advertised as suitable for the KMW "GBB" gun but LM4 is not specifically stated.

I'd get increased muzzle velocity to push the range.  The high power bolt group is drop in.

Where the bucking slips on to the barrel is what I am talking about.  I found the other barrel that is cut for the systema 7 on the site, so I'm convinced this is the correct barrel now.  I read on a thread here, I think it was Akira, bought the systema 7 version from ASGI when they had them by accident, since ASGI ordered the wrong ones. They aren't there at all now.

Which high power bolt group are you talking about? I thought that was only available to LE? (I have no connections to get it through.)  I was thinking the longer barrel combined with the evo 2 bucking/tensioner and my shaved jet valve would be good.

Check with KWA on the high power bolt.  Labeled "for training only" as I recall.

I would think that the Kriss EVO kit would be a little different than the LM4. When I fitted the LM4 TB barrel to the Kriss, I needed to widen the flat areas with a file so that the hop up unit could clip on. I was actually thinking that the 509mm barrel would make for a nice Kriss DMR!

Well if you want that barrel get it while it's there! I can't find it ANYWHERE besides EHobby!

I did a quick check on the EVO its and the Kriss hop-up housing is a little different.

Speaking of the hop-up housing, I bought an ESD EVO II housing from Tiger Tactical.  Comparing it to the stock housing I have now, it doesn't seem as strong.  It's much lighter, perhaps a higher quality metal that just happens to be lighter? Vs. some sort of pot metal? Anyone have experience with it?
