Does my motor sound alright?

I just installed the magpul moe hand grip and I know there have been some issues with motor alignment and the MOE grips. I plan on playing tomorrow and I just want to make sure it sounds alright and it's not destroying my gears. Here's a short video: https://www.youtube....eature=youtu.be

Sounds like you need to turn the motor adjustment screw in more.

One of two issues
  • The base plate needs to be modded
  • What ChooChoo said,the motor height needs to be adjusted by adjusting the base-plate screw

The problem with the base plate is that the screw doesn't even go in far enough to touch the motor. You can see in this photo how far it goes:

That shouldn't happen unless there's something else obstructing that screw.  try taking the base plate off and then working that screw in farther.

Or it's cross threaded....or someone put locktite on it....see that before.
