Greetings,

I was wondering if the A&K M4 RIS would fit my LM4 PTR?  I had seen that some had issues with this while others did not.  On the compatibility list thread, page 6, I found this post:

Ok just got my kwa lm4 PTR Version tody and i have to say ive never been as excited for an airsoft gun as i was for this. I got home and put some outer upgrades on.
Outer Upgrades
Magpul PTS stock
A&K M4 RIS
No mods needed

Also put on some acesseries
Eotech 552
4x magnifier
Utg light w/ pressure pad.

How does this rail system fit exactly, if it fits the LM4 to begin with?

Thanks

It maybe fit inside the delta ring, but as i can see in the pictures y may not fit the front locking plate that is before the gas-block/front sight.
I have one of that RIS style that replaces the plastic handguard and it need some modification to fit inside the delta ring and flont lock plate, i don't remember which brand is.

I could, mainly going for the typical M4 look (at least I can to understand this generally happens lulz)

"Typical M4 look" will have the standard plastic handguards, not a rail system.  :)  Special ops units have rails but they're a tiny percentage of units with the carbine.  But there are rails that fit nicely.

The UTG 416S two piece quad rail was a drop in on my LM4.  Mounts very securely with no wobble.  Good enough for a dot sight (in airsoft anyway).  Others may fit, this is the only one I tried.  No modifications on my LM4.

I have a UTG rail too. Works perfectly and mounts securely just like Chuck says.

Ah.. well I would prefer the M4-style RIS (and look, essentially something like the A&K M4 RIS, and the one linked above by Desert Punk), just wasn't sure which one would work easily.. (mainly just drop in and is secure)
