I have the km16br and have one question about what bb's I should be using. I've only played airsoft for about a year and don't know much about the game (and about guns). My question is what kind of bb's should I be using? weight and brand. And since it's a KWA gun would KWA be a good bb brand to use? Thanks to all who reply! :D

Elite Force is a good brand. My friend only uses them in his gun and swears by them. For a long time I only used Crosman. I know I know, shame on me :blinded:  but at the time I only used Walmart guns for backyard skrimishes and the like. I also use .25s cuz Ive found they work best for me in the field. So you could try Elite Force .25, but KWA would also work well considering it's their BBs in their gun

Try both! Personally I don't like to spend as much on the "small" stuff as possible.

Your choice really. You could also go by whichever one is more cost efficient which is probably your best bet. Also, who can attest to Matrix's BBs? I just found a 25kg bag on Evike o.o http://www.evike.com/products/31274/

And to save yall the math, thats 108,695 BBs. Give or take a couple

Thank you everyone! I think ill just go with KWA (even though their pretty spendy <_< ) Does anyone know why KSC/KWA bb's have a smaller diameter though? Will this affect anything?

Just one final thought, having used all the brands listed, I prefer either KWA .3 or Bioval .25. The choice in the end should be driven by several factors:
  • Performance
  • Cost
  • Are bios required?  If so then that narrows the field down a bit...
  • Paying style/environment - Outdoor with wind = heavier BB's.  Inside short range (75ft and under) CQB I would use .2's.  Why?  Because at that short range the .2 BB will get down range faster and have enough momentum to give you an edge over someone shooting .25's or .3's in a CQB environment
  • Velocity - Higher velocity needs heavier BB's to optimize performance
I have had good results with Elite Force BB's though my son had a jam with them.  1 BB out of 5000 isn't an issue but jams are more likely with any bio BB than with a non-bio in my experience.  Lastly, understand that BB's are made by only about 4 manufacturers.  KWA makes their own BB's for there guns and that's one of the reasons you will get very good performance from them.

I use these ....  http://www.paintball...0-count-bag.htm
You can't beat there customer service (top notch) and of course the price point is good.   I play 90% field/woods games....good on windy days and can penitrate threw brush better then the lighter bb's.
