Hello all. I am looking to add a 425mm inner barrel to my CQR Mod1. To cover the extra length I would like to put on a Madbull Quick Silver. I see some pictures where the threads are at the end but some where it looks like they are in the middle covering a portion of the outer. Can someone who has one confirm how this works?

Thank you as always.

The threads are within the quicksilver, go for this:

Unless you want a free flout to shroud over it. Then measure the dimensions of the opening of the rail, and compare it to the dimensions of the Barrel extension (surpressor) Look at more madbull products

If the Quicksilver covers a portion of the outer barrel and only adds a few inches of length I think that's what I want. I want to cover an extra 30mm of inner barrel and not make the M4 look too long or be too long to carry in the woods.

Some of the pictures and reviews seem contradictory.   ASGI says the threads are at the end but say it covers the outer. One reviewer says it doesn't.

My Quick silver was threaded in the middle and only added a little to the end of My KM4A1.  That could have changed but given the weight of the QS it would require a significant redesign and be somewhat pointless to do...but who knows???

Thanks. I think the QS may not cover enough out the front. I thinking maybe the JBU JB31.  Vanevery has a couple and likes them. They seem to be what I need.

30mm isn't a lot of barrel to cover (little over a inch),  I have the same issue with a 455mm I just put in my SR.  I am going to check out a vortex flash hider ICS mp58 at CAT Airsoft near me Saturday.  Called they said it was a little over 3".  Just a idea. The JBU is pretty long for that application.
