Will a knights armament carbine length ris fit a km4a1?

Can't say for certain.  When I put a YHM 2 pc handguard on my KM4A1 I needed to push the gasblock forward about 1/8".  My guess is you would need to do the same.  It makes using the tower difficult.  If you go to a clamp on gas block you can adjust the fit.

Yeah I want to retain the front triangle sight.  So that wont work.  Is it because the rail is slightly longer?

With the YHM yes.  Can't say for certain with the KA though.  The spacing on the front KWA KM4A1 is just a little bit off MIL Spec.  What you might be able to do grind the back side of the sight and repaint it.  It should only requires about 1/8" off.
