Hello, I'm looking at parts and reading forum entrees and I'm still a little confused upon what upgrades i need to increase the range and fps of my gun and what parts would be the best to use. I have the KM4 RIS, stock internals, and i am trying to upgrade it into a DMR or SPR type rifle. I am already ordering a longer tight bore inner barrel. But I've been told i need a different piston, piston head, spring, mosfet or some other part that i am not very educated about.

What parts would i need to do this?

It would help if I know your target fps and range to further help with your questions.

Well, id like it to be just over 500+ and range out to about the same as a high end spring sniper.

I'd start with a mad bull 455mm 6.03mm the as its very cheap and I have found it to be an improvement. Also the g&g green bucking is fantastic.  I am in the process if upgrading my RIS to dmr.  I have a prommy m135 spring and hoping that should put me around 500 fps.  Also need to make it semi only :D

You must have a very nice air seal if your running a m135 and a tbb.
I would add though if you can a r hop or flat hop, personally I like flat hop.

Get the Maple Leaf. It comes with a flat hop and it's the same price as the green.

Not sure about the seal.  Not really sure how check the seal between the air nozzle and bucking.  I'm going to test the cylinder next week week for leaks though.

I didn't like the maple leaf in my RIS. It seemed to perform much worse than the g&g green.  Maybe I installed it poorly,  I don't know.
