I decided to hang onto my old KWA KM4-RIS and turn it into a CQC AEG instead of selling it off. As a result, I need to bring down the FPS to under 330 FPS with a 0.20g BB. At the moment, it shoots 400 FPS with a Guarder SP110, which leads me to believe that it has perfect compression. Would a Guarder SP90 bring down my FPS to below 330?

Additionally, would the weaker spring cause pre-engagement issues if I run my AEG on full auto? It currently gets about 23 RPS with the Guarder SP110 on an 11.1v 15C LiPo on stock internals.

I tried many spring/cylinder combos in KWA M4s. There is a good chance the Guarder SP110 spring is shooting hotter then the stock KWA M120 spring.
IME, the lighter spring can cause pre-engagement. I found a number of combos that got me around 340-360FPS

Anyway, I was shooting around 320- 345ish Using a KWA M120 spring & the MOD2 Cylinder. (never tried it with a longer barrel: RIS)

If you want to give the cylinder a try i have no need for mine. No Charge
PM me if interested.

There should be other recommendations/suggestions.

Good Luck!
