I bought a LM4 from my friend in Arizona and he shipped via USPS 2-Day Priority. Check out this link. Look at the deilivery date and look at the date it is now. Apparently they plan on going back in time and delivering my long awaited LM4.

Huh??  Estimated delivery date for 2-day is 2 days after receipt.  I don't see an actual delivery date.

Hmm. It said expected delivery date is Wednesday, and it still does. And today is Friday. Just thought it was rather interesting haha

It is very irritating that I have not received this yet. I've had packages from Washington get to my home in Tennessee in two days, and its apparently not here yet. I gave USPS a call, and not even they can give me an explanation to why this is happening. I see a refund in the near future for a lost package.

This is why I'm cool with spending the extra money to ship stuff via UPS over USPS especially if it's an expensive item.  I'm in the military so I see .gov incompetence on a daily basis.  USPS is no different.

Um... that only has $50 in insurance, if that gets lost you might get shafted

I had to file an investigation yesterday. Called usps and they said after 5 days with no update means something is wrong. Really, go figure. Guess I won't be getting my LM4 after all :(

Are you 100% sure he shipped it with an orange tip? Just a thought.

He said it was black. But I asked him for a refund, he said okay, just to be sure I'm gonna call usps. They said they've had major delays for packages coming to my area. We have nice weather but its taking 2 weeks for a package to get from arizona to to tennessee. He said he nevers ships with an orange tip and it gets there fine.

USPS is absolutely ridiculous.  They are under-prepared as well as morons... (if you are a USPS guy and not a moron, I am sorry.)  If a package does not fit in my mail box, they leave it on top instead of bringing it to the door.  Happened with my taco pouches just yesterday.

When I ordered my xbox, they left it on top of the mailbox, in the rain, without any plastic over it.  The only thing that saved it was the thin foam layer they put over electronic stuff in the box that is apparently water proof as well.  Sure, maybe they don't know it's valuable, but that doesn't mean you assume that it's not.

On the flip side, UPS has their stuff down.  They are prepared.  Plastic bags, double plastic bags, to the door, everything.  When I ordered my LM4, the guy delivered it in the rain, with three layers of plastic wrap over it and made sure it was up against the door so it wouldn't get hit by any rain anyway.
