Yeah, I know!  :)  There seem to be only two (2) of us here with these guns.

As a sidebar we ran a three day basic tactical carbine course this weekend.  Nine (9) AR15s and one (1) AKM (all semi-only no select fire carbines).  The "AK guy" was at a horrible time disadvantage due to the ergonomics of the gun.  Selector, magazine manipulation, clearances (yes the gun will have stoppages!), etc.  I'm going to call him in a month and see if he's changed his choice.  The KWA version nicely reproduces all these disadvantages!  ;)

1) Field strip the AKG (dust cover, recoil guide, bolt carrier, gas piston tube)
2) Remove lower handguard
3) there is a set screw that goes just under the hole where the gas piston (silver part of the bolt carrier) goes. It is a 1.3mm
4) tap out the giant pin
5) Take out the screws on the front of the receiver. You'll be able to see these two screw when you remove the lower handguard

These 5 steps will allow you to take the barrel assembly off of the receiver

6) There are two set screws that hold the hop up and inner barrel assembly into the outer barrel. Remove these and the assembly will come out. Good luck

Thank you, sir!

I believe I found all the screws and pins so I should be able to do this.  "Should" being the operative word!

Nice that the gun comes apart so accurately to the 5.45mm version.  I got a chuckle out of the little protective plastic tab between the receiver and selector.  :)
