Temperature sensitive lube?

Up until now I've been completely clueless as to why sometimes it's fine and sometimes it fails miserably. I've posted on here once or twice about it and you guys seem to be stumped as well. I've tried everything. I've reverted all the internals back to stock, rocket valve included. I've switched them all back to my mods again. Now I have a stock hop-up assembly, an RA-tech barrel, and a modded valve.
But yesterday, I had been standing out in the snow a good 5 minutes. After I cleared the jam, I went out and dumped a mag in full auto to make sure the gun functioned properly. It was perfectly fine. I just went out and shot, the gun wasn't subjected to the cold for even 30 seconds.
Could the lubricant be freezing? If it gets to thick, wouldn't it screw up the whole bolt assembly essentially? It's the only thing I can come up with this point...

I had the multiple BBs and cracked BBs on my LM4 when new and sent it to KWA for warranty repair. Hasn't repeated in a year. I have a KM-Head barrel sitting here to install in the gun but haven't done it yet as it's working too well as is. I'll probably do O-ring mod while I have the barrel out. When I do it.

I have done this mod to 8 LM4's and it works fantastic.
