Has there been any word on the Masada GBB that was shown during Shot Show? Or has it been scrapped? I'd like to know if I can eventually throw my EVOII hop-up set into that considering it supposedly would be using the LM4 hop-up.

The Masada GBBR has not been scrapped. However out of respect to KWA's requests, since the Masada is not a KWA specific product (neither is the MKM for that matter) I won't be discussing another company's product on their KWA company forum. When there's new info to share, it will be shared in the appropriate public forum/venue. We are fortunate that KWA has allowed the continued usage of this thread regarding the MKM on their forum. Let's keep the discussion on topic please. ;)

Oh, my fault. Some YouTube videos labeled it as a KWA product. Thanks for the info, though!

Hey Boobie, I'm still a little curious about the inconsistent dimensions between the MKM and LM4 uppers. Obviously the tabs are geometrically different, but what about other dimensions like pin spacing and the curvature near the buffer tube? If a receiver were able to accommodate both types of tabs, would both receivers be compatible? Also, would you mind posting the dimensions of the MKM tabs, please?

Edit: Can anyone confirm whether or not the MKM buffer lock is the same as the LM4? I'm wondering if I should get an extra BBA steel lock while I'm ordering one for my Magpul.

Hi

Yep, Buffer Stop is 100% the same.
I replaced mine with the BBA Steel Buffer Stop, perfect fit

Thank you crowley! Anyone know about hole spacing or anything else that might affect receiver inter-compatibility, besides the tabs?

Hey Guys just got MY Mega Arms MKM yesterday and I'm wondering if the RA tech NPAS for the standard LM4 will work in my MKM...I'd like to use it for CBQ on the odd occasion...or even the RA Tech BCG? thanks in advance!

Anyone else use the LM4 Pmags with the MKM?

I bought 6 as I prefer the look of these to the standard mags, but keep having problems with these locking the bolt back, even with a full mag.

After comparing these space between the top of the mag and the bolt stop lever, the standard mag has a shorter stop lever than the pmags. From measurements, there seems to be about 0.7mm difference.

So in theory, if this gap is enlarged on the Pmags, they should work as well as the standard mags. Has anyone tried this before or at lleast know if this seems a sensible thing to do! I would rather mod the mags, and keep compatibility with standard mags.

There are also quite a few videos on modding the bolt catch on the LM4, what does this fix on the LM4?

Hi

We found a simple and effective Fix to get the PMAGs running stable in the MKM

The PMAG (so also the Disconnector) sits a tiny bit higher in the MKM as the the STANAG Magazine!
So the Magazine Disconnector Part No 16 pushes the Bolt Catch up too soon after every Shot and not when the Magazine is empty

See Magazine Part No 16 Disconnector here:
http://www.kwausa.co..._lm4pts_mag.jpg

So simply shorten the Disconnector 0,6mm where it meets the Bolt Catch, now your PMAG will work perfectly fine, Bolt Catch hits after last Round as it should

To disassemble the PMAG Shell unscrew the Bottomscrews 25,26 and push the Magazine out of the Shell
Then take out the Disconnector No 16 and file down the small square Top with a File or Sandpaper

Also the PMAG fits a little bit more loose in the Magwell, but that is no Problem over all, i ve seen Real Steel Lowers with looser fit ;)

PS
Sorry, my English is very bad
