Just wondering what the main differences are between these 2. All i can see is the rail vs the handguard. It looks like all the specs are the same other than that. Am I wrong?

Yeah, that and the price =D
I guess they made the Commando so that people can then put whatever rail they want or not.  More choices.

Yeah... I'm putting a new rail on my ris, so I plan to put that on the commando when I pick it up. Thanks for confirming!

The specs seem the same as the sr7 except the rail.  I'm getting a new rail for my ris and plan to put the ris rail onto the commando. Unless I'm mistaken,  they are the same gun except for the hand guard.

Ok, i was wondering, The SR7 is a free floating rail. I like the look you're going for.

I didn't think of this, As he has an Echo One ST6 (MK18 MOD 0)
$22 for the rail $30 for the metal lower receiver i had the buffer tube & stock. the mock suppressor should be here tomorrow.

Thanks, Jesse & choochoo i was going to order a SR5. This worked out well. I'm ordering another AVET fishing reel with the savings :)

Nice!  Glad you got it worked out.  I just got a 12 inch free float in the mail today.  Going to try to install it Monday. For my ris that is.

Hey Jesse could you post a pic of it when you got installed? I've been wanting to get 1 but I'm not sure how it would look.

PS can you tell me how heavy it is with the new ris? thx

Sure thing. Expect a picture Tuesday or so.  The rail is pretty light.  I doubt I'll feel much difference when it's installed,  but I'll let you know.
