I'm going to play at a field for the first time at west coast adventure park. I've been to facility to play. Looking forward to it a lot. I was hoping for some tips to both help make sure I have a good time and avoid looking like a noob .

Aside from general advice, I think it would be in your best interest to find find a way to wear full face protection, or at the very least full seal eye protection, which doesn't make you horribly uncomfortable. You only get one set of eyes, and dental work is expensive! My mother is a dentist, so I've seen airsofters come in with broken teeth before.
The next piece of advice I can give you is to remember to have FUN. Seems kind of obvious, but in my area there have been some pretty crappy days because of somebody having a bad attitude. Just remember to respect the other players and be honorable, as I think that alone is the biggest sign of a newb; some new players will take a solid hit in the side of the head, flinch, and then turn to shoot back at the person, so that type of thing can be really frustrating.
Lastly, try to pay attention to what other players are doing(example: if they're shooting out of a doorway make sure they know you're going to pass in front of them) and if you have questions about stuff I'm sure that the experienced players will be happy to help you out, since I've rarely seen people refuse to help a new player learn.
Good luck, and have fun!
