So I just got my KM Head 6.02 395mm inner barrel in my KWA M4.  I have only fired it off the rear deck of my house tonight, but with the surefire 674 light, as my only illumination, it seems very consistant.  It would say slightly better than my sons SR7, with a M120 spring.  I have always considered the stock SR7 barrel to be excellent.  I have 2 M4's.  This one is basically stock with the exception of a red dot, Magpul ASAP mount, Magpul trigger guard, Magpul MOE stock, and a Surefire light.  This is my go to gun for playing airsoft with the son.  I then have a M4 CQB I upgraded to a Madbull SP130 spring and a standard KWA M4 non-CQB cylinder, the same Magpul parts and a 407mm 6.03 inner barrel, with a mock suppressor.  I am thin\king about replacing the inner barrel with a 425mm or 509mm KM Head 6.02 inner barrel.  This rifle is more or a DMR type and I don't shoot the kid with it because it hits real hard.  Currently will put a hole in the bottom of an aluminumm can.
Will the 509mm barrel get me anything the 425mm barrel won't?  This rifle is my hot rod and is only for target shooting in the backyard.  Don't care about full auto fire either.  Any thoughts would be great.  Once again, very impressed with the KM Head barrel so far.

I agree....I just got my KM Head 6.02 425mm and installed in my M4-RIS with longer Flash hider. I have to say that my groupings are much tighter as compared to the KWA 6.01 brass barrel. Will be fielding this sunday so I can give better feed back.

Anyone have any thoughts on the 395mm vs 425mm vs 509mm for dmr build?

For a DMR, best results I have found so far is with a 455mm inner barrel. If you have to choose between the three you mentioned, I say 509mm with a Full/Type-0 Cylinder or a 425mm if staying with the stock KWA Type1 Cylinder.

I don't mind changing cylinders. What 455 do you recommend?

This is from vanevery in another thread:

These two are the best IMO:
1. Systema Area 1000 Type O

2. Guarder Full Cylinder for m16

425 KM Head 6.02 http://store.kwausa....arrel425mm.aspx

I would use the KWA 0.5 cylinder with this barrel personally.
