I recently Hydro Dipped my SR10... Here are my results... This is my first time ever working with Hydro Dip... It took about 20 hours to do... I Think it cam out good but it is REALLY blue... Not sure if I like the color so I'll live with it and change it again in a year or so... You can see I messed up on one spot on the upper receiver right next to the delta ring... I hit it with my thumb while I was dipping...

iwar,

whats the texture like? It looks cool! I agree the blue is different. Do you have to mask it to get mutable colors?

The texture is smooth... There is 2 layers on matte clear coat over it... The paint is printed on film that you place on water... then dip it into it, and it transfers to the gun. Just you tube "hydro dip"... It was very time consuming for all the prep work... I literally had my gun in about 25 pieces not including the gear box... Completely disassembled!!! Just glad it came out good... But like I stated above not super crazy about my color choice... But it will definitely be one of a kind... Next week I'm gonna do my G36C in urban digital... Just got all my supplies in yesterday...
