Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone's used a SR10 cylinder(Type .5? I believe) in place of the SR7 (Type 1?) with the stock sr7 barrel( 273mm). I ask because I R-Hopped my stock SR7, But I chrono"d it at 315 fps avg. with .25g BB's. Anyone else thinks this is a little low? I want to swap my cylinder with the SR10 cylinder, and possibly the spring(m120). So then I would be shooting roughly 400fps with .20g. I also feel like, with a low FPS, even though I'm getting ~200ft of range, the hits only feel like little plinks( just poking at you from the range).

My KM4-CQB with the 11" barrel shoots just about 300fps with 0.25g BBs and is, I believe, internally the same as your SR7 so the velocity seems right.  I've got a a cylinder and a couple of springs to play with but, even after almost 18 months of thinking about it have yet to crack the gearbox cases.

My 16" RM4, which probably has the cylinder and spring you're considering, shoots ~380fps with 0.20g and ~335fps with 0.25g.  Another gearbox I've not cracked!

Neither of these have the performance of my LM4 which sends 0.32g BBs down range just under 400fps -- in warm weather!  :)

Aah, ok sounds good then I thought it was shooting low, but if yours is in the ballpark, sounds good to me!
Looks like I will be getting the cylinders and m120 spring from here. Hopefully I get more range, but most importantly, higher FPS.
What does the SR12 use?

Anyone ever put a full cylinder in their kwa, more specifically, the SR7? How did it perform

A full cylinder is only good for an inner barrel in the 509mm- 550mm range.  Its of not use in an SR7.

Ah, ok good to know. So I would be good with the SR10/KM4 RIS cylinder that I can buy at the proshop. Should I stick with the m120 or bump up to the 130? Would the stock motor handle either springs? I play on using a 11.1v lipo.

What FPS do you want?  This will determine the spring. And the KWA motor will handle either spring.

Sorry, I'm looking for 400 fps max with .20g BBs, As that's usually the field limit here at SC Village and Hollywood Sports Park. So with .25g BB, I should be around 350fps, correct?

You can get those approximate numbers with a 0.5 cylinder and the stock M120 spring.
