Hey, guys. I'm new to the forum and recently purchased a KWA LM4 Magpul Edition (didn't want to wait for the Mega Arms one) and I've been purchasing some upgrades and such so I can throw them in there when it arrives. One thing I was looking over, that recently was added to Evike's website, was the http://www.evike.com...oducts_id=44767.

My question is: Does anyone know if this rocket valve would be compatible with the LM4?

Thanks.

I would hold off on that. You can just shave off a couple mm to the rocket valve if you really want to gain more FPS. It would achieve the same goal as what Evike claims their rocket valve would do, and the best part is that it's free too. Besides that valve looks more like something that would fit in a Hi-Capa or something. I would steer clear of it. KWA has a rocket valve that is plenty stable. Also, I personally wouldn't screw around with it too much if it's brand new. You'll void the 45 day warranty. First play around with it and see what the performance is like. If it's junky then send it in and they will fix it up nice and good for you.

Gotcha. Thanks, man. I just want to have everything ready off the start instead of buying the gun, deciding I need to upgrade some stuff, waiting for that stuff to arrive, and finally being able to put it all in.

I'd highly recommend the EVO II and RA-Tech 6.01 tightbore barrel. That is essentially the only thing you will need to purchase to improve its performance. Everything else is do it yourself, like the barrel fix and rocket valve mod.

I've looked in vain for over a year for a "rocket valve" in my KWA GBB guns and can't find a hint of one in the parts diagrams or lists.  What part are we discussing?  I only have KWA guns so don't know the nomenclature of the others.

I purchased http://tigertactical...bbr-p-2627.html recently. That has the RA-TECH TBB but it comes with a hopup assembly as well. Is that the EVO II?

Thanks.  I was guessing that was the part.

No, that is the same as the stock hop up. The EVO II is a replacement for the hop up bucking, sleeve, and tensioner.

This is it, but it's out of stock unfortunately.
