I noticed after going thru a gameday and many mags (I have 8),  everyonce in a while, a BB will shoot up from the mag while it is cycling and get jammed or lost inside the receiver:

you can see at the end of the video , extra bb's fly up from the mag.

I was firing semi all day today and i would get a flyer and it would get stuck somewhere inside the rifle to where i would have to shake it out .

anyone have this happen?

What brand of bbs are you using?

On my old ksc m11 from back in the day, bbs would eject out of the mag for every other shot fired when I used excel bbs. When I switched over to airsoft elite bbs, it stopped misfiring.

I was using Elite Force .28 bios. (bios required by local field)  The weather is a bit rainy but I will test with normal ones during the week

I've only shot mine in semi auto almost exclusively. Zero jams or chopped BBs thus far. I'm using AIrsoft Extreme .28g BBs.

So far its shooting very well.I don't see any real difference in terms of accuracy vs. my KWA KRISS. Its pretty impressive in my book. Why the hop wore out quicker on my old LM4, I have no idea. That gun has since had the Maple Leaf EVO II kit installed in it and its shot very well.

I tested today, had the same issue with regular .28 Elite Force BB's., it was a little less frequent but still got an extra flyer causing a jam or getting double feed, I ran thru at least 6 of my mags.  My next test this week is to just load amounts of 30 bb's at a time into each mag.

I recommend sending gun in if a change in ammo doesn't resolve the issue.

I found that with the LM4 I was having similar issues when I loaded the magazine to the absolute capacity, maybe too much pressure on the outgoing BB's? Though I've noticed that after doing the o-ring/barrel mod the problem has yet to resurface. Perhaps there is a similar movement happening inside the AKG? The issue with the LM4 was that the hop up unit was not as rigid as it needed to be, so I would closely inspect the components of the AKG hop up and barrel assembly to see if there is any movement where there shouldn't be.

So elite force .28g bbs tend to eject and jam into the bolt? Maybe its time you guys use anything orher than that weight/brand?

On Thursday , I'm going to run some tests on just feeding 35 rounds and seeing if the problem replicates.  I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but I had been loading with the LM4 speedloader and not sure if it's possibly overloading it by one or or more.  Also I will test with some madbull .20 that i have on hand

The LM4 uses a shorter tube I think. It holds about 31-32 rounds. The AKG's loading tool tube holds up to 40 rounds if I'm not mistaken.

I meant the speed loader that looks like a M4 mag, the one made by KWA with the LM4 adapter

Did some tests last evening.  Used the regular loader that comes with the AKG and loaded up 38 rounds.  Tested between the elite force .28 bios, .28 regulars and some g&g .20.  Only had one flyer/jam with the .28 bios. I will field the rifle in a indoor arena this weekend.  I think one issue is that it is easy to overload one or two with the magazine type speed loader.  I will know more after this weekend when I have more access to different types of ammo

Semi fielded the rifle a bit this last weekend, no jams using both elite force .28 and the bio version.  Looks like the jams can be attributed to overloading the mag, I used the tube loader to endure I had no more than 38 rounds in the mags
