I threw a Mabull Daniel Defense 7 inch Lite rail on my KWA commando, it fits just fine.

A free float barrel will indeed "tart up" an AEG but that's about it.  Keep in mind that unlike a cartridge gun I doubt there will be any measurable accuracy improvement.  (And other than in benchrest competition a free floated 5.56mm M4 Carbine sees no practical accuracy increase either.)  A more accurate inner barrel provides no visual clue it's there at the gun but pays dividends down range.  It's all what you want to spend your money on:  fluff or function?

Hi Chuck
Thanks for your input.I have already upgraded my km4a1,well I say upgraded.I stuck a vented piston head in as it seemed like a good idea and I fitted a new piston as the original one stripped when I had a jam. I used top quality after market parts.
I also fitted a king kong mosfet (hard wired) and a m110 spring to get it up to 440fps.
After fitting that lot it out distances almost every other gun at my site so I am very happy.
All Im doing now is getting the outside looking just the way I want.

I am wondering what brand spring M110 you have used to achieve an 440FPS I am assuming with .0.20g bbs.

Hi niko I cant remember the make but I can tell you that for some reason my km4 is very efficient.Even an m105 I had in it before gave me around 420 fps. And yes all measurments were taken using good quality .20's
Of course I could have a chrono that reads high.

You may be right but then again I had an experience where a spring gave me over 70 fps than normal.  However, I have not been able to recreate this occurrence. LOL
Those damn KWA gremlins..................................
